Bring
Awareness
In February 2016, we released the final report from our three-year Child & Family Homelessness Initiative. This important research aimed to fill the gap in knowledge about Canada’s fastest growing demographic of the homeless population and bring much-needed attention to this issue. The report’s comprehensive recommendations proposed long-term solutions to all levels of government and community organizations.
To further our report findings and bring awareness to child and family homelessness in Canada, we’ve released a new national public education campaign to engage the Canadian public. Titled How Bad Can It Get?, the campaign depicts some of the challenges and barriers facing families, illustrating one of many pathways into homelessness.
